Hey! Nice to see you.

I'm Kevin (they/he), a Certified Grief Counselor and Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist providing services across California. I believe therapy should be a collaborative and empowering experience where individuals can feel safe to explore themselves, their relationships, and the endless complexities of our shared, often disheartening world. I believe in showing up to our work authentically—which includes heartfelt compassion, humor when appropriate, and a minor fondness for occasional cursing. If that sounds like something you're interested in, I'm glad you made it! Please check out the Individual Therapy page for more information about working with me, or click the "Schedule a Therapy Consultation" button if you'd like to connect.
I offer free therapy consultations and am happy to answer any questions via the contact page. Hope to hear from you soon!

Psychotherapy has been immeasurably supportive in my life and I find an enormous amount of meaning in my work. My personal story includes navigating Alzheimer’s/dementia concerns and caregiving, intergenerational trauma, depression, C- PTSD and related trauma, ADHD, and existential issues. Individual psycotherapy was (and remains) a massively important resource in my pursuit of healing and growth, and I am fortunate and consistently humbled by the opportunity to accompany folx on a path towards their own healing and growth. More personally, I am a non-binary midwesterner perpetually clad in black who loves loud music, tattoos, endless comfortable chilling, comedy, and staring deeply into a sleepy dog’s eyes at 1 AM.

I am personally oriented toward collective liberation, recognizing the impact of capitalism on mental health, and non-carceral approaches to care. I'm also a certified grief counselor with experience working in crisis services, crisis residential housing, and locked psychiatric facilities. Beyond that, I'm a human sorting it all out, just like you.
